The 2023 Metro Minor Ball Hockey League is set to get underway once again this year and we are happy to announce registration will be opening on April 14th.

Registration is done through the league website and payment is taken with credit card. If you wish to sign up and pay via e-transfer please email stevepowernl@hotmail.com for arrangements. The cost to participate is $250 for players and $125 for Goaltenders. Registration is final and refunds will only be offered in the case of players moving from the province or season ending medical issues (accompanied by a doctors note)

The season will begin just after the May 24 holiday weekend and run up until the first week of August. Games will take place between Monday to Thursdays for the most part and times will be between 4:30-8:30 for various age groups. All sessions are at the DF Barnes Arena on Pennywell Road. Here are the divisions of play being offered this season;

Female 15 and Under

Female 16 and over

U11 – 8,9 and 10 yrs

U13 – 11 and 12 yrs

U15 – 13 and 14 yrs

U19 – 15,16,17 and 18 yrs

The MMBHL is very pleased to announced to program will be in Great hands this season as Mrs. Tracy Hayley will be the lead person at the rink and assisted by Tyler Hayley and Andrew (Kavy) Kavanagh! Tracy has been a mainstay at the DF Barnes Arena and certainly has the best interests of all the boys and girls at heart and is going to be a fantastic addition to the MMBHL. Tyler Hayley is an experienced Ball Hockey official and coach and Kavy is an absolute pleasure to be around for the kids!!
