The Metro Minor Ball Hockey League (MMBHL) is the largest ball hockey league in NL and affiliated with the Newfoundland and Labrador Ball Hockey Association (NLBHA).  MMBHL is a member of the NLBHA who are in turn a part of the Canadian Ball Hockey Association (CBHA). All players that register and play in the MMBHL are automatically members of the provincial and national governing bodies and enjoy the benefits of being a part of these two great organizations. Our players are eligible to compete in Provincial tournaments and can be considered to be a part of the Team Canada Program through the CBHA.

MMBHL hires summer staff to assist with coaching, timekeepers and officiating every season.  We are very pleased to have had former Provincial and National Team members work for us and help kids of the MMBHL learn the great sport of ball hockey!  Some of our past employees have been big names in both the Ball and Ice Hockey world. Adam Holwell (Team NL Ball Hockey and QMJHL), Joel Bishop (Team Canada Ball Hockey and QMHJL), Kyle McGrath (Team Canada and QMJHL), Jesse Sutton (Team Canada and QMJHL), Jordan Maher (Team Canada and QMJHL), Connor Donaghey (Team Canada), Mike Dyke (Team Canada Coach, NL Blackhorse and Team Canada player).  We expect to have a great staff once again this summer and encourage players and parents alike to ask any questions to our staff at any time.

Our League’s goal is to introduce as many players as possible to the great game of Ball Hockey while following all rules and guidelines from both the Provincial and National Governing bodies.  Our games are officiated by certified CBHA officials and we endeavour to provide training and support to our volunteer coaches as needed and required!  All players will be given the opportunity to play no matter their individual experience or skill set!

The Metro Minor Ball Hockey League is open to all in the various age groups we offer! We hope all kids will enjoy the ball hockey experience and play the sport to the highest level they can!
