We are pleased to announce all divisions of play in the MMBHL will begin at the DF Barnes Arena next week beginning Monday May 30. The first week will be used for player evaluation and team selection for all divisions. The following week the games will begin as teams will be selected and jerseys will be handed out to all teams.

This Thursday evening (May 26) all evaluation groups and times will be posted here on the website for next weeks sessions.

Players are reminded that they must wear a helmet with full facemark, hockey gloves, ball hockey or soccer style shin pads and regular ice hockey sticks. Plastic street style sticks or equipment is not permitted to be used. This also applies to goaltenders as ice hockey goalie gear and not street hockey equipment is required!!

Finally we are very pleased to announce that Mr.Jesse Sutton will be back once again this year to run the program. Jesse has been with the MMBHL for multiple years now and has high level ball hockey playing experience at the National Level with the Newfoundland Black Horse team and has represented Canada in the ISBHF World Championships. Jesse has also coached NL Provincial teams and is a National Goal Medal winning coach bringing home a Canadian U17 Championship.

Assisting Jesse this year will be Tyler Hayley and Harrison Hiscock. Both young men are ball hockey players and ice hockey players and will help Jesse in various aspects of the program this season. We are very fortunate to have them at the rink this spring and summer!!
